Hi Everyone,
This has been a crazy week for me and Dad and Mom. So now we are passed out on the couch. As you know, last Saturday was "Fight Gone Bad," that's the big event Mom and Dad hold at the gym every year to support the Wounded Warrior Project and Athletes for a Cure. We had lots of people come and raised over $14,000! I got to watch the end and then eat brownies!!! I really like brownies.
Monday and Tuesday Mom was really busy putting on a workshop for Interfaith Hospitality Network in Savannah. It was to teach families about eating good food without spending too much money. That meant Dad and I got to watch football together.
I play a lot more now in my new class. I'm the youngest one so I have to work alot harder to keep up with everyone. I'm so tired sometimes I fall asleep eating lunch. Our class room doesn't have cribs anymore, we have cots and bedrolls. But that means we have more space to play. We even have our own playground. It was a lot of sand and rocks that I like to eat!
Today I spent the morning with Gigi. Mom and Dad had to go work the Junior League thrift sale. Now that all these fundraisers and good deed projects are over, we can play more.
Afterwards we all walked to River Street for Octoberfest. There were a lot of people and food but Obi and I were really good. It was still really hot so we went Leopolds to get ice cream and then walked home. Now I'm watching football with Dad and helping Mom with laundry.
It was a long, but good week. Tomorrow is Picnic in the Park. Everyone in Savannah puts together their picnic baskets and goes to the park for some live music. Some people even wear costumes and get prizes for them. We're just going to enjoy family. I am excited because cousin Aidan will be there and we'll get to run around a nd blow bubbles. I'll let you know how it goes!
Love,
Jackson
